Year 7
This year long course is designed to understand basic cooking principles.
Students create mouth-watering recipes that have excellent nutritional value. Students will be given the opportunity to develop and build on their knowledge of cooking techniques and follow the design process to create their own food products. Home Economics will also incorporate a study of basic nutrition, cookery skills and food safety, empowering students to make informed decisions regarding their food choices.
This course leads to Year 8 Food Specialisation.
