The Religious Education curriculum is based on the outcomes set in the Religious Education Progress Maps published by the Catholic Education Office.
The school follows the guidelines of the Catholic Education Office to fulfil the goals as set out in the Archbishop’s mandate letter. The resources and programmes are designed to assist the Church in fulfilling its mission in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to engage young people in the process of discovering the deeper meanings of life and the hope that lies within us all.
The learning process will include out of classroom activities such as retreats and liturgies. Through their involvement and understanding of the liturgical practices of the Catholic Church, students can discover a new ‘inner self’ that can enhance their contribution across all learning areas.
