Students are introduced to a broad range of health issues. We emphasise that health encompasses 5 facets: spiritual, mental/intellectual, social, emotional and physical. Students will learn to identify strategies to promote their own and others’ health, safety and wellbeing in different situations and across different environments. Students will also be able to identify the health and social benefits of physical activity and associate the importance of physical activity as a preventive health strategy.
Students will also be taught how to apply appropriate protocols in face-to-face and online interactions and understand the importance of positive relationships on health and wellbeing.
