Lester Prize Winner

This beautiful portrait by Year 9 student Emma Houghton has won third place in The Lester Prize Youth Competition (Year 9-10).

150 young artists from Australia entered this popular and prestigious portrait prize which makes Emma’s placing a high achievement.

30 Youth Finalists are on display at Brookfield Place Perth Tower 2 Lobby until 26 November 2021. Main Award Finalists are on display at The Art Gallery of Western Australia – AGWA until 29 November 2021.
