Demonstrating our House theme of Compassion remains an important element. We have participated in fundraising events for charities like Live Below the Line, which provides education for those in poverty.
We encourage individual efforts have been made by Brigid students to improve the lives of the less fortunate.
St Brigid of Kildare
St Brigid of Kildare (451AD-5OOAD) was born in Ireland during the sixth century. She was a woman of rare ability, strength and kindness. An early feminist and nun, she was known for her hospitality, her love of music and learning, her speech, her enjoyment of life and her generosity to the poor.
