On Friday, we welcomed back Alumni from across 40 years of our College’s history. We had Alumni from our inaugural year in 1986, generational Alumni, siblings, the Chair of our original College Advisory Board and even some of our more recent graduates.

It was wonderful to see former classmates reconnecting, as well as former students reunited with the Staff who had taught them all those years ago. Our Alumni also shared stories and memories of their time at the College, giving us a glimpse into the early years.

| 📚 History in the Making 🌏 |

This week, we celebrated HASS Week. Our Prendivillians enjoyed many lunchtime activities including scavenger hunts, quizzes, The Price Is Right and the ever-popular badge making. Students were given their own HASS Passport, earning stamps as they took part in each activity, with the goal of becoming the Honourable HASS Student (and win some prizes).

| 🎗 Good Shepherd Response 2026 🫂 |

Yesterday, our Year 12s hosted their PrendiPlunge fundraiser, where Staff and student volunteers were dunked with buckets of ice-cold water. This also marked the final event of this year’s Good Shepherd Response.

Throughout Term 3, our Year 12 students have been running a range of fundraising events to raise awareness, support cancer prevention and those impacted by cancer, as well as promote mental health awareness through zero2hero.

| 🎤 Interhouse Spicks and Specks 🎶 |

Over the past two Prendiville Times, our Houses have been taking on each other in a fun game of Spicks and Specks. The competition was spread over two weeks to give everyone plenty of time to enjoy the fun. The challenges included a face-off where students had to draw a song title and Finish the Lyrics, with each year group taking a turn. | 🗣️💬 Languages Week 🌍❤️ |

This week at the College, we celebrated Languages Week with plenty of culture and flavour.

In the classroom, our students created Italian inspired art pieces and prepared Italian cuisine. The celebrations continued around campus, with Carmine Napoli Music performing in Italian in Manjaree Place and That Little Gelato Cart making its way to Prendivillage. The Reef Café also served a dish from a different country each day throughout the week.

The week ended with a messy Spaghetti Eating Competition, with our Year 12 students taking on our staff. The rules were simple: finish the bowl of spaghetti without using your hands.
