Parents and family of the College are encouraged to buy tickets for the Ultimate Game of Backyard Cricket, which will be held at Government House on the 20th of March.
The Colgan family, whose children currently attend Prendiville are main sponsors for the match which will raise crucial funds for the Pirate Ship Foundation. Conor Colgan (year 9) has suffered from brain cancer for over 9 years, with countless procedures, surgeries, chemo-therapy and radiation impacting his young life. The Foundation donates all proceeds towards research into childhood brain cancer in the hope of finding a cure to this horrific disease. The match will follow traditional backyard cricket rules, but teams will consist of former cricket greats, Perth celebrities and sports stars.
