Lennox-Bradley First Nations Bursary
Prendiville Catholic College is committed to providing an inclusive and Christ-centred Catholic education for First Nations students. We value, acknowledge and celebrate First Nations histories, cultures and traditions as an integral part of our College Community.
The College contributes annually to a First Nations Bursary Program to assist First Nations students who would otherwise not be able to access a Prendiville education. This bursary is designed to support students who demonstrate commitment to their learning and engagement in College life.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are recommended selection criteria for choosing students for a First Nations Secondary Bursary:
• Aspire to receive a Christ-centered education
• Students confirmed as enrolled in either Primary or High School in Western Australia
• Residents of Western Australia at the time of receiving the Scholarship
• Support the College Ethos and values
• Show commitment to learning and regular attendance
• Are enthusiastic about College activities and life
• Intend to complete Year 12
How to Apply
To apply for the Prendiville First Nations Bursary:
1. Complete an Expression of Interest via the College website.
2. Complete the First Nations Bursary Application Form (below).
3. Provide a Statutory Declaration or other documentation confirming the First Nation status of the applicant.
4. Attend an interview with the College Principal and First Nations Liaison Officer.
The College limits Bursaries to $100,000 per year. Once this cap is reached, additional Bursaries are awarded at the Principal’s discretion. Therefore, early submission (by end of Year 4 for Year 7 entry) is encouraged.
