ACC Cross Country Results

Congratulations to all students who competed in the 2021 ACC Cross Country Carnival.

It was a beautiful day at Alderbury Reserve with 75 competing ACC schools. Although students finish with an individual place, our students supported each other as a team throughout the day and it was fantastic to see everyone out on the course cheering on each runner as they ran past. It was quite common to see students smiling due to the support, even though they were tired and sometimes in discomfort after running so far.

There were some outstanding individual performances this year; Thomas Rooke (U16 boys) finished 4th, James Malone (U16 boys) finished 6th and Aoife Malone (U13 girls) finished 11th. These results are outstanding when you consider there can be up to 370 competitors in each race.

There were also some fantastic team results. The U16 boys finished 1st, taking away the champion trophy for their age group. This is a back-to-back champions trophy for this year group and the depth was amazing with all the runners finishing in the Top 130.

Overall Prendiville finished 15th.

Sporting Achievements – 2021 Champion Schools Cross Country

One Prendiville student competed in the Champion Schools Cross Country carnival. This carnival involves government, private and Catholic schools and therefore some of the best runners in Western Australia. Well done to Ella Graham (Year 7) who finished 24th for the 12 year old females.
