Deacon Paul Reid, Diocesan Director for Caritas was presented with a cheque for $2,600.50 by our House Leaders and House Captains on Friday 7 May.
Paul reiterated to the students the 2021 Project Compassion theme ‘Be More’, inspired by Saint Oscar Romero and passed on his thanks for the generous efforts of our College community, who collectively aspired to ‘Be More’.
Through a variety of fundraising efforts during the season of Lent, including pancake sales, bake sales, fairy floss and chocolate sales, Fundraising Friday’s, Crazy Sock Day and donation boxes; the Prendiville community has assisted some of the world’s most vulnerable people build better futures for themselves, their families and their communities.
