ACC Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to all the students who competed in the ACC Athletics Carnival yesterday. The students were brilliant with their attitude and competitive spirit throughout the day and this resulted in the highest place finish Prendiville has had in over 6 years – 3rd place!
Whilst it has been a team effort to finish this high, there were some great individual performances that have to be recognised:
- Michael McDonald – breaking all 3 throwing records in the F56 classification – Javelin, Discus, and Shot Put
- Ryan McGloin – Champion boy for Open age group
- Lauren Greene (year 10), Amelia Rowe (year 9) and Joel Shallue (year 7) – Runner up champions for their age group
- Sam Hocking (year 8) and Ella Dow (year 9) – 3rd place champions for their age group
Overall team results:
- Junior girls – 2nd
- Overall girls – 2nd
- Overall aggregate – 3rd (only 5 points behind 2nd and 45 points behind 1st place)
