Year 12 Religion and Life General students are currently studying the issue of Modern-Day Slavery. An incursion was held today with all classes receiving a presentation from Darren Reynolds from Destiny Rescue; highlighting that Slavery still exists.

Destiny Rescue is an international Christian-based non-profit organisation. They work to rescue the sexually exploited and enslaved, restore the abused, protect the vulnerable, empower the poor and are a voice for the voiceless. A large part of their work is in freeing children from human trafficking in countries such as Cambodia, The Philippines, Thailand and Nepal; 99% being girl abused for sexual exploitation.
