Tech Club

Join us for the launch of Prendiville’s New Technology Club! The club plans to run an event once a term with the aim of fostering student learning and awareness of technology and its applications in today's world. We are kicking off the club in week 9 with daily fun technology events and activities.

We encourage students to get involved! There will be loads of prizes in store all week for students that participate.

Flex your coding muscles with Monday's Coding Quiz! It will be released in the school notices for you to try your hand at.

Join us as KT5 at lunchtime if you want some help.

Here are our year specific activities:

You have devised a new twist on the traditional 'What number am I thinking of?' game to help your cousins learn their 7 times tables! Write a game that asks the user to guess the number you are thinking of (For this game, the number will always be 42).

The user is allowed 10 guesses. They make a 'Mistake!' if they guess a number that isn't a multiple of 7. A user can make a maximum of one mistake, otherwise they lose the game. When the game is over, you should always print out ‘That was fun.’
