The focus of our Library, at Prendiville, is to ignite a passion for reading and to facilitate an information to knowledge journey for our students, whilst empowering them to become lifelong, independent and responsible learners.

Email the Library

All students receive a brochure which contains their Library username for borrowing and details further services.

New Fiction, Non Fiction & Audiobooks:

Students can use the Library Search tab to find books that are available for loan in the MacKillop Library. This is located via the Student Dashboard on the SEQTA Learn page on your devices. Scroll down to the Library Resources tab to access all Library resources available.

You can also find our Wheeler’s eBooks here if that is your preference. Choose from over 5000 fiction, non-fiction and audio books. Just use your CEWA email and password to access.

If you prefer print books check out our new Fiction and Non Fiction hard copy titles on the bay ends in the Fiction & Non Fiction areas of the Library.

Video Resources:

All video resources can also be found by clicking on the ClickView tab. Again use your CEWA email and password to access. There are close to 20,000 titles available for viewing

Databases:

Available databases including AUSLIT, ProQuest eLibrary and Encyclopaedia Britannica give students access to up-to-date quality and authentic, peer reviewed information from around Australia and the rest of the world.

Year 7 – 8 Library Forums:

Year 7 – 8 Library Forums are a useful way to recommend books to others, as well as find a good book to read for yourself. These can be found in SEQTA Learn ~ Forums.
