So 6 hours on and there we have it ........... The Beaumaris Shopping Centre Bus Stop has it's face lift care of the work of a creative group of Year 11 Visual Arts Students and Trev, their mentor over the last two weeks. It has done wonders to the Constellation Drive landscape. Well done Mr Longshaw and Mr Matthews for your long term commitment to the project. Thanks also to The City of Joondalup for your generous support for the project, it could not have been completed without your help. A great community project all round we reckon ... enjoy our gallery !!

Relay for Life
With the Relay for Life week-end behind us it's time to recognize a couple of extra-ordinary efforts by a couple of our students. Molly Gerrans (Y10 pictured right on our cover) spent last week biking and trecking 80km (Outdoor Ed.), fell off her "treddly" once, played State basketball on Friday eve, then walked 100 (40km) over the weekend as part of her commitment to helping others. Sanju Sibichan (Y11) decided his mantra over the week-end would be; the more one walks, the more one raises. He completed 200 laps (80km) in a couple of dawn to dusk efforts. Well done to both of you ....... Oh and well done to Kate Raphael, her band of renown and our students for efforts beyond the call of duty !!

Year 12 Chelsea Lane Year works towards the greater good to assist the homeless
We never tire of the stories which show our students working towards a greater good. Stories that are less about themselves and more about others. Chelsea Lane (Y12 Cover Shot) has been collecting toiletries for months so that people less fortunate than herself (the homeless) can benefit from using essentials they often can't afford. Chelsea's house, Brigid, have also chipped in to help build a stock pile which will have a positive effect on many lives over the coming months. The Salvos will soon take over the mantle for Chelsea to see that the neediest are provided for. We along with your very proud family are in AWE of your generous efforts Chelsea ...... a huge pat on the back from us !!

Year 10's biked and hiked along the legendary The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation
Outdoor Ed at Prendiville has been taken to a whole new level in recent years, mainly through the hard work and un-ending energy provided by Sarah Fogliani, our O.E. guru. The full gambit of Year 10's (cover shot + staff) from this years course biked and hiked along the legendary The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation and Bibbulmun Track for 5 days and found out what paradise and true team work (in no particular order) really meant. In conditions best described as perfect (hiking at dawn shot), then fickle within 45 minutes of each other, the group put into practice all that they'd learnt over recent years and excelled in every way. Great to have you home guys, but we dare say your memories of the week will last a lifetime !!

Class of 2016
It's mid to late September, it must be Goodbye Time. It's the way College is sometimes and today we said goodbye to a fantastic group of young people; our Class of 2016. We began with breakfast including a series of humorous awards at Resort Joondalup then back to school for our 16 (shape) shot prior to their final assembly.
